Laura Wild

Laura Wild

Miss Wild began her creative career at the very young age of 5. Throughout school, she performed on professional stages and was awarded a number of TV appearances. Whilst gaining her Bachelor of Arts degree, she worked in Boston Massachusetts, USA, leading a Performing Arts summer school. On her return, she was employed as a Drama and Dance teacher in Manchester, and it was then that she discovered there was an even greater joy to be had in enthusing others with her passion for Drama and Theatre. She stayed in Manchester to undertake her teacher training, graduating with a First Class Drama PGCE in 2016. Miss Wild describes herself as committed, approachable and effervescent.

Prior to joining Arcadia, Miss Wild was Head of Drama and Gifted and Talented Coordinator, in a grammar school in Canterbury, Kent. As well as this, Miss Wild has also been an AQA A-level (post 16) examiner for Drama and Theatre studies for the past two academic years.

Having positive relationships with students is extremely important and helps create a happy and safe learning environment. This helps students reach their full potential not just within music but also when building their confidence, creativity & collaboration skills.

Mr Johns is excited for his time at Arcadia and is ready to push the Music here to the next level.
